Two days ago (i.e on 6 August 2020), Prasar Bharti had added two new channels on its platform DD FREE DISH DTH. These channels are ABZY Dhakad and News State UP UK. Both the channels are free to air and Hindi Language channels. ABZY Dhakad is the hindi movie channel of ABZY Group. News State UP/UK is a hindi news channel that specially covers the news of Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand in hindi language.
These channels are selected by conducting 47th e-auction by dd free dish and are now purely on pro
rata basis from 6th August 2020 to 31st March 2021. DD free dish is an India's first free to air dth service. DD Free dish mostly covers the rural area in the Country. DD free dish provides the channels in two formats MPEG-2 and in MPEG-4 channels.
This time dd free dish conducted 47th e-auction for fill the vacant slots on the platform.
Hope next eauction will take place soon and new more channels will be added on dd free dish.
